Sibley Hosts Hospitality Seminar for Local Business

HOSPITALITY WORKSHOP FOR BUSINESSES, ORGANIZATIONS, TOURISM

The Sibley Nature Center (1307 E. Wadley) will host a Hospitality Training workshop in Midland, March 8, 2011, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. The workshop is open to business managers and employees, community organizations, retail and hospitality services, tourism destinations and attractions, and other groups for the purpose of developing and enhancing customer relations.


The workshop is part of the Texas Friendly Hospitality Program conducted by Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Texas A&M University, Dept of Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences. The program focuses on creating an environment consisting of people that foster the best possible customer service skills. This workshop will aim to empower employees, retain loyal customers, provide an edge for businesses or communities, and improve both external and internal customer service.

The workshop will be presented by Scott Jordan, Executive Director of the Texas Pecos Trail Region, and is sponsored by the Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau with the cooperation of the Sibley Nature Center.
