Friday, August 12th
7:30pm- Malt Shop Memories- It was a time of record hops, cars with big fins, ponytails and beehives. The future was bright and the music on the radio and jukeboxes became the soundtrack for the rest of your life. Recorded at Caesars in Atlantic City, MALT SHOP MEMORIES brings together 12 of the greatest living legends from the late 50s and early 60s and their phenomenal music for one fantastic evening. Hosted by Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Fabian, who also perform their greatest hits, the special also includes archival performances from The Four Seasons, Martha and The Vandellas, The Beach Boys and Dion and The Belmonts.
9:30pm- Ed Sullivan's Comedy Special- For 23 years, "The Ed Sullivan Show" featured America's premiere comedy legends performing their acts for millions of Americans every week. This special from the Sullivan archives brings back the original stars that defined the history of comedy, in their prime doing their original acts. The talent line-up includes classic bits from Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Red Skelton, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Flip Wilson, Joan Rivers, Alan King, Jack Paar, Jackie Gleason, Victor Borge and many more.
Saturday, August 13th
2:30pm- Country Pop Legends- Country pop legends unite to perform their biggest and best-loved hit recordings from the 1950s, 60s and 70s in this MY MUSIC special. County music legend Roy Clark hosts this emotional trip down three decades of memory lane. New performances from Glen Campbell, Crystal Gayle, Hank Locklin, Bill Anderson, BJ Thomas, the Bellamy Brothers, the Browns and more are intermixed with classic full-length vintage archival gems from the vaults.
4:30pm- Jackie Evancho: Dream With Me- Jackie Evancho – the 11-year-old girl with the extraordinarily big voice – who came to national prominence on “America’s Got Talent” where she dazzled the audience with her rendition of Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro” and Sarah Brightman’s hits “Piu Jesu” and “Time to Say Goodbye,” returns to PBS after her sensational guest appearance on GREAT PERFORMANCES “Hitman Returns: David Foster & Friends.” Her solo concert – coincides with the release of her first full-length solo album, Dream with Me – was filmed at the grounds of the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Song listing to be determined.
7:00pm- Rock, Pop & Doo Wop- Rock and pop legends Jon "Bowzer" Bauman (formerly of Sha Na Na) and Ronnie Spector (of the Ronettes) bring back the best songs from the late 1950s and early 1960's rock, pop and doo wop era in an all new "MY MUSIC" concert event. This all-new special recorded in May 2010 includes new live performances and rare, never before available archival classics from the Dick Clark vaults.
9:00pm- Suze Orman: Money Class- SUZE ORMAN’S MONEY CLASS reveals Orman’s expert take on what actions people need to take in light of the new economy. Sunday, August 14th
6:00pm- Best of 50s Pop- Phyllis McGuire, Pat Boone and Nick Clooney host this nostalgic trip back to the 1950s. The program's mix of live performance and archival footage takes viewers back to the era's pop music days with classic moments from Patti Page, Perry Como, Debbie Reynolds, the McGuire Sisters and more.
8:00pm- Daniel O'Donnell: Live From Nashville- Returning to the roots of country music, Daniel O’Donnell does so in a big way with this stunning program that originates from the iconic landmark and “Mother Church of Country Music,” the Ryman Auditorium. The program features a compilation of country and Irish favorites with special guests Charley Pride singing his signature tune “Crystal Chandeliers,” longtime musical companion Mary Duff, talented vocalist and wife Majella O’Donnell and The Daniel O’Donnell Band.
